About Us

Matthew Bartz is the founding attorney of Armour Legal, Attorneys at Law.  He is a second generation attorney whose father, a well recognized attorney in Los Angeles, raised him to stand up for himself and fight for those that could not defend themselves.  Matthew started his career working for the Presiding Justice of Division 5 Court of Appeals, then spent the next several years of his career as a State Prosecutor where he spent every day in court litigating cases.  Mr. Bartz then spent nearly the next decade as the Senior Attorney at one of the most recognized law firms in Arizona before leaving to found Armour Legal.  As an avid boxing and mixed martial arts fan, one of his favorite quotes applies to the type of representation that Armour Legal and Matthew Bartz provide to clients.
